Gmail Reader is a gadget for Windows vista that gives you a shortcut to your Gmail in-box from your desktop. You don´t have to bother opening your browser, going to the Gmail website, signing in and opening your account. Try doing it all directly from your desktop!
Gmail Reader automatically checks your in-box and alerts you if you have received new emails. When you receive a new email, the program will notify you via a sound alert. It will then summarize the last 20 messages you´ve received.
What is a gadget? They are certain applications, normally small in size, that run from the Windows desktop independently, without installation or external applications.
